Established in 1959 and incorporated in California, Vacuum Atmospheres Company operates as a U.S.-owned manufacturer with over 20,000 systems worldwide. We focus on providing inert atmosphere solutions to scientific and industrial sectors.

We maintain complete in-house manufacturing capabilities within a 78,000 square foot facility located in the United States, enabling full quality control and scheduling oversight.

Engineering and Design

VAC’s engineering department handles analysis, design, verification and validation across standard and custom products. Notable achievements include developing our patented Genesis and NexGen inert gas cartridge purification systems.

Capabilities include 2D/3D drafting, stress analysis, seismic analysis, certified welding to ASME codes, and helium mass spectrometer leak testing. Our engineering staff collectively brings almost 100 years of experience in the design of inert gas purification systems and gloveboxes.
